Who is responsible for processing my data?

The designated data controller is INTERLOIRE, the interprofessional body for Loire Valley Wines. Their head office is located at 62 rue Blaise Pascal, Tours.

Who is the nominated representative?

INTERLOIRE is represented by its president, Mr Lionel Gosseaume.

Is there a designated Data Protection Officer (DPO)?

NO

What information does INTERLOIRE collect when I register my samples?

INTERLOIRE will ask for a contact name (first and last name), the first and last name of the owner, the name of the estate, trading name, address, phone number and email address.

What information does INTERLOIRE collect when I register on the site as a visitor?

Your title, email address and job title.

And if I don’t provide the information?

Whether you wish to register samples or simply visit the site, if the mandatory fields are not completed your registration will not be accepted.

What does INTERLOIRE do with this data?

Your data is stored by INTERLOIRE to save you having to repeat the registration process every year.

Who will have access to my personal data?

- INTERLOIRE personnel responsible for managing the site;
- Actévolis, the site host;
- Passerelle, the web developer.

How long will my personal data be stored?

Data is stored year on year as long as the account is active. Inactive accounts will be deleted after 5 years.

Will my details be shared outside the European Union?

NO

Will my data be subject to automated decision-making?

NO

Why does INTERLOIRE need to collect my data?

We need this data to approve the registration of your samples and validate you as a visitor.

What happens to my personal data after my death?

In the absence of any specific instructions from you to the contrary, we will delete any personal data we hold about you as soon as possible after notification of death, unless we are required to keep it on record for probate or other legal reasons. If this is the case, we will keep only the details that are strictly necessary. The data is not used for any other purpose.
You may decide now that in the event of your death you would like us to transfer your data to a third party of your choice. If so, you can let us know by writing to us at: contact@vinsvaldeloire.fr
We would also remind you that in accordance with article 85 of law 78-17 dated 6 January 1978, you may give us instructions about how to store, transfer or delete your personal data in the event of your death. These details can be general or specific.

What are my rights regarding personal data?
